UP-DFA (Universal Polish Digital Facebow Analizer) is a research & development project of a dental diagnosis system, which is intended for a better planning of an esthetic treatment in Digital Smile Design technique.
UP-DFA is equipped with a vision system with two cameras, a digital image processing and analyse unit. The device has its own source of light, which enables to perform correct clinical procedure under repeatable conditions.
Research and development nature of this project results in numerous modification in device conception. The case complies all technical and functional requirements such as geometry of its elements, provides proper conditions during performing clinical procedures, helps maintain adequate hygiene level.
